Air Force One is one 'spiffy ride,' Obama says.

It's longer than a hockey rink, has two food preparation galleys that can feed 100 people and a medical suite that can be used as an operating room. In the event of an attack on the country, Air Force One can become the president's mobile command center. President Obama recently asked reporters on board: "Hey guys, what do you think of my -- this spiffy ride here?"

Youngsters Catch First Glimpse of Ancient Crocodile With Huge Boar-Like Tusks.

CHICAGO — Imagine meeting a crocodile with huge tusks like those of a wild boar.

Paleontologist Paul Sereno did meet one, or at least the remains of the ancient creature, and he gave a crowd of excited youngsters a first public glimpse Saturday.

Sereno calls it boar-croc for its looks, since he hasn't yet published an article on it with a scientific name in the official literature.

The University of Chicago researcher found the skull in the Sahara Desert, which many thousands of years ago was moist and supported all sorts of animals, crocodiles and even in the distant past dinosaurs.

Boar-croc doesn't fit in any known order. It has a crocodile-like snout, but adds horns and three sets of canine teeth like those of a wild pig adapted for eating meat, he explained.

So why does a world-renowned paleontologist trot out his latest find before an official publication?

Saturday was family day at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and Sereno couldn't resist the chance to try and interest youngsters in his line of work.

Recalling himself as not the best of students, Sereno founded Project Exploration to try and interest city youths and girls in careers in science by making science resources available outside of the classroom.

The big smiles and eager questions indicate he has found a fertile audience.

CHRIS BROWN'S IN TROUBLE FOR HITTING RIHANNA?

The chief investigator in the domestic violence case against singer Chris Brown will deliver his findings to the Los Angeles district attorney Tuesday afternoon for consideration of further charges, the investigator told CNN.

Los Angeles Police Detective Deshon Andrews said he has kept the case file closely guarded and no copies have been made of the original photos and documents in order to keep them from leaking to the media.

Police have refused media requests to hear the 911 call that led to their investigation early Sunday, but Andrews said it mostly recorded the sound of "a screaming woman."

Brown, 19, turned himself in Sunday night after police said they were looking for him.

COPS RAID A COWBOY THEMED PARTY THINKING GUNS WERE REAL!!

A couple who held a cowboy-themed party to celebrate renewing their wedding vows were shocked when armed response police teams turned up.

Roy and Val Worthington from Castle Donington in Leicestershire held the party in the Moira Arms on Saturday.

Mrs Worthington said she phoned Leicestershire Police in November to warn them about the themed party and that some guests may have toy weapons.

A police spokesperson said all reports of firearms had to be taken seriously.

"We have to treat all reports of firearms as genuine and respond to them accordingly," the spokesperson said.

This is NOT funny and they don't mess with guns over there!!
