KJ's "Uncle Tayo" is a QUADRAPLEGIC 39 year old man who lives in Nigeria, West Africa. On Saturday March 21st 2009, KJ learned some devastating facts about his uncle who has been sitting in that wheelchair with mild mental disabilities and major physical disabilities.

Uncle Tayo's accident was due to brain damage in a car crash caused by rioting students in 1978. HE HAD JUST TURNED 8 YEARS OLD on April 1st 1978. The accident was on April 28th 1978 and rioters pelted cars on the highways with huge rocks with one hitting KJ's uncle in the head and he has been disabled for over 30 years since.

On the morning of 3/21/09, KJ exclaimed "That is my age!" then BURST into TEARS! He felt very sad for his Grandma when he saw her caring for his uncle after living in Nigeria with his mom for 9 months in 2007.

KJ speaks about his own mentally challenged brother "Eni" being able to do many things other people can't do like programming computers, assembling furniture and solving video games puzzles to the end.

N.J. Teen Accused of Child Porn for Posting Nude Photos of Self.

TRENTON, New Jersey — 14-year-old New Jersey girl has been accused of child pornography for posting nearly 30 explicit nude pictures of herself on MySpace.com — charges that could force her to register as a sex offender if convicted.

The case comes as prosecutors nationwide pursue child pornography cases resulting from kids sending nude photos to one another over cell phones and e-mail.

Legal experts, though, could not recall another case of a child pornography charge resulting from a teen's posting to a social networking site.

MySpace would not comment on the New Jersey investigation, but the company has a team that reviews its network for inappropriate images.

In the New Jersey case, the Passaic County Sheriff's Office investigated and discovered the girl had posted the "very explicit" photos of herself, sheriff's spokesman Bill Maer said Thursday.

"We consider this case a wake-up call to parents," Maer said. The girl posted the photos because "she wanted her boyfriend to see them," he said.

The teen, whose name has not been released because of her age, was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. She was released to her mother's custody.

If convicted of the distribution charge, she would be forced to register with the state as a sex offender. She also could face up to 17 years in jail, though such a stiff sentence is unlikely.

Ohio Cops Use Twitter to Talk to Residents,

CLEVELAND — Ohio police agencies are signing on to the messaging Web site Twitter to let citizens know about accidents, traffic conditions and suspects being sought.

Police in Summit County's Bath Township have been on Twitter since Feb. 19. One recent "tweet" — as Twitter posts are known — warned that a local high school dismissed early for final exams, so motorists could expect extra traffic in the area.

Twitter.com offers free microblogging, allowing users to post messages of up to 140 characters that sent to interested recipients via computer or cell phone.

The State Highway Patrol and police in the Dayton suburb of Huber Heights also have opened Twitter accounts. Huber Heights Chief Robert Schommer says it's a good way to reach out to people.

Official: Obama's Half-Brother in Kenya Hospitalized, Tested for Cholera.

KISUMU, Kenya -- A Kenyan health official says President Barack Obama's older half-brother has been hospitalized with stomach pains and is being tested for cholera.

Local disease surveillance officer James Sande says that Malik Obama, a 51-year-old businessman, was taken to Siaya District Hospital in western Kenya on Tuesday evening. Sande says Obama's condition is improving enough for him to be discharged Thursday or Friday. Results of his cholera test have not come back.

There is an outbreak of cholera in the area and hospital official Frederick Osanya says a domestic employee of Obama's was hospitalized with the disease last week. Cholera is easily treated but can be deadly.

Obama family members in Kenya did not return phone calls seeking comment. Barack Obama has five Kenyan half-brothers and a half-sister.

Not only does Mr Obama needs to fix health care but also maybe in Kenya too for his brother.

Toronto Raptors star forward Chris Bosh cast in court papers as deadbeat dad .

Chris Bosh says he loves his baby daughter and will let the courts deal with the issue of how he supports the child financially.

The Toronto Raptors star has been cast in U.S. court papers as a deadbeat dad who broke up with his girlfriend when she was seven months pregnant.

The allegations are contained in court documents filed in Maryland on behalf of Allison Mathis, who describes herself as Bosh's former live-in girlfriend. She is seeking child support and sole custody of an infant she claims is Bosh's daughter.

Bosh wouldn't comment specifically about the lawsuit following practice Tuesday.

"All I can say is I'm going to take care of my responsibilities like I've been doing in the past and in the future and keep respect for everyone," he told reporters.

The documents claim that with Mathis seven months pregnant, Bosh, who is making US$14.4 million this season, stopped supporting her financially and attempted to have her removed from their home.

The allegations made in the complaint have not been proven in court.

Not Smart(ies): Doctors Warn of Dangers in Kids 'Smoking' Sugary Candies.

Doctors are warning kids across the country to stop "smoking Smarties" -- a fad they say can lead to infections, chronic coughing, choking and even maggots feeding off sugary dust in your nose.

Adolescents and teens have been crushing and inhaling candy, and then exhaling it, in an effort to look as though they’re smoking cigarettes, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

Countless youths have even posted how-to videos, like this one on YouTube, of themselves engaging in this behavior.

Health experts fear the behavior may lead to harmful conditions. Some kids have already shown signs of developing a “smoker’s cough.” Oren Friedman, a Mayo Clinic nose specialist, cautioned that frequent use could lead to infections or even worse, albeit rare, conditions, such as maggots inside the nose.

The trend came as a surprise to officials at Summit Middle School in Frisco, Colo., in the fall when a clique of sixth graders started “smoking” Smarties -- a popular, disk-shaped sugar candy.

Though they call it “smoking,” the kids aren’t actually lighting a match to the candy. Instead, they crush it into a fine powder in its wrapper, draw it into their mouths and then blow it out in a cloud of dust. More at the Wall Street Journal.

JUDGE SAYS THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE SCHOOL AS KIDS ARE SENT BACK TO PUBLIC SCHOOL FROM HOMESCHOOLING.

A North Carolina judge presiding over a bitter divorce case has ruled that three home-schooled children must start attending public school — a decision their mother angrily says was based on her religious beliefs.

Wake County Judge Ned Mangum granted Thomas and Venessa Mills joint custody of their children — ages 10, 11 and 12 — and ruled that the children's "best interest" would be served by sending them to public school this fall, according to a temporary custody order.

But Venessa Mills insists her association with the Sound Doctrine Church played a "big factor" in Mangum's ruling, in which he also ordered her to undergo a mental health assessment within 30 days.

"He disregarded the facts and said that even though the children are thriving in home school, they'd do better in public school," Venessa Mills told FOXNews.com. "It's a clear cover-up by the judge. He made a bad ruling about home schooling and he is clearly covering his tracks."

Venessa Mills, whose home-school curriculum includes swimming, piano lessons and instruction from Sound Doctrine members via phone and Web cam, claims Mangum showed his bias by not including rebuttals to damaging testimony by her relatives and close friends in his ruling. SOME SILLY BAT GOES TO SPACE WITH THE SHUTTLE!

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - A small bat appears to be trying to hitch a ride aboard the space shuttle Discovery from its perch on the spacecraft's attached external tank as NASA counts down to a planned Sunday evening launch. Mission managers said the tank-clinging fruit bat is unlikely to pose a risk for the shuttle, and will probably fly away when Discovery blasts off this evening at 7:43 p.m. EDT (2343 GMT) from Pad 39A here at NASA's Kennedy Space Center."It's not expected to be a debris problem," NASA spokesman Mike Curie told SPACE.com.

The bat is between one quarter and one third of the way up on the north side of the shuttle's huge orange external fuel tank, which is the side that faces away from the orbiter. It could be seen in a NASA camera view caught by collectSPACE.com, a SPACE.com partner. It was first noticed this morning while the fuel tank was being filled with its super-chilled liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen propellant. NASA does not think the bat has frozen in place, though, because the tank's surface temperature is between 58 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit at the bat's location.

This isn't the first time a bat has taken up position on a shuttle's fuel tank on launch day. "On STS-72 there was a bat, but it flew away during launch," Curie said, referring to the 1996 flight of the shuttle Endeavour. That bat did not harm the shuttle at all. Birds and bats can pose a hazard to space shuttles if they impact and damage an orbiter's sensitive heat shield tiling. This thermal coating protects the shuttle from burning up in Earth's atmosphere when it re-enters.

Mother Allegedly Bites Son's Principal After Suspension, Police Say.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A Rhode Island woman is facing charges after allegedly punching and biting her 11-year-old son's school principal after being told the boy was being suspended.

Police say 30-year-old Aleyda Uceta also bit an officer trying to arrest her after Friday's incident at Roger Williams Middle School in Providence.

She is charged with assault on school officials, assault on police officers and resisting arrest.

Principal Rudolph Moseley Jr. was allegedly assaulted after he told Uceta that her son would be suspended for three days for refusing to go to a room for misbehaving students.

Police say Uceta punched Moseley in the face and bit his left arm.

Attempts to reach Uceta by phone for comment were unsuccessful.

Feds Seize Shamrock Seeds at Dulles Airport!

CHANTILLY, Va. — Federal agents at Dulles International Airport have seized shamrock seeds from travelers arriving from Ireland — just days before St. Patrick's Day.

Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Stephen Sapp said the agents targeted the Aer Lingus flight on Thursday and had been searching for passengers carrying prohibited meat.

He says 16 packets of shamrock seeds were found among some pork and beef. A permit is needed to import the seeds.

Both the meat and shamrock seeds were destroyed.

Former WWE Wrestler Andrew 'Test' Martin Found Dead in Tampa Apartment .

Andrew "Test" Martin, a former WWE wrestler, was found dead in his Tampa, Fla. apartment late Friday night, MyFOXTampaBay.com reported.

Neighbors called police after seeing the 33-year-old motionless over a span of several hours.

The cause of death wasn't immediately known, but police said foul play isn't suspected. An autopsy will be performed.

Martin joined the WWE in 1998 and won many of the organization's major titles before suffering a severe back injury, MyFOXTampaBay.com reported.

He was known for his on and off-screen relationship with Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of WWE head Vince McMahon, FOXSports.com reported.

In July 2004 Martin had spinal fusion surgery. He was released from his WWE contract several months ago, MyFOXTampaBay.com reported.

Martin tried several unsuccessful comebacks after his injury, but failed a drug test and was suspended in February 2007, FOXSports.com reported.

In April 2008, Martin was arrested on a DUI charge in Tampa, FOXSports.com reported.

He is the fourth ex-professional wrestler to die in the Tampa area in the past two years.

Massachusetts Boy, 8, Charged With Shooting Friend!!

BROCKTON, Mass. — An 8-year-old boy in Massachusetts has been charged with shooting an 11-year-old friend in the head with a pellet gun, police said.

Brockton police Lt. Tom LaFratta told The Enterprise newspaper that the younger boy, whose name was not released because of his age, will be summonsed to juvenile court to face charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a pellet gun.

Police said the gun belonged to the younger boy's father. The boy shot the older boy in the back of the head as they played last Thursday.

The older boy's family say he was taken to a hospital where doctors removed pellet fragments from his scalp and closed the wound with nine staples.

The younger boy's father sent a written apology to the older boy's family.

Apology??? No guns period!

SHAME: Chris Brown takes own name off Kids' Choice Awards ballot!

There won't be any awkward Chris Brown moment at the Kids' Choice Awards - the embattled pop star has withdrawn his name from the ballot. Brown had been nominated for favorite male singer and favorite song for "Kiss Kiss" at the March 28 awards show on Nickelodeon. The nominations came shortly before his arrest for allegedly attacking girlfriend and fellow pop star Rihanna. A petition had been circulated to take his name off the ballot, but Nickelodeon said yesterday he was still on.

On Wednesday, Brown decided to take his name out of consideration. Brown, 19, has been charged with two felonies after allegedly punching, choking and biting Rihanna, 21, on the day of the Grammy Awards. Sources reported that the couple are back together. Last year, the "Run It" singer was nominated for the same award and won for favorite male singer at the ceremony in Los Angeles. In a statement, his representatives said while Brown would like to speak directly to his fans, he can't because of his criminal case. He thanked his fans for their support.

Police Arrest Ohio College Student Accused of Starting Campus Fires.

CINCINNATI — Police have arrested an Ohio college student suspected of setting small fires at a campus.

Police in the Cincinnati suburb of Delhi Township say 18-year-old Jordan Cullen was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of aggravated arson.

Authorities say Cullen set at least one of five small fires Thursday in two buildings at the College of Mount St. Joseph. She was listed as a resident at the small college.

Officials say a 28-year-old student suffered an apparent seizure as the fires broke out and later died at a hospital. Police said the cause of death has not been determined.

Another person was treated for smoke inhalation, and hundreds were evacuated.

It was not immediately clear whether Cullen had an attorney.

Alligator Accused of Starting Fire at Abandoned Pennsylvania School.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A four-foot alligator rescued in an abandoned school on fire in western Pennsylvania may have also started the blaze.

North Beaver Township officials are not identifying the owner of the former elementary school that burned Thursday afternoon near New Castle, about 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

But they say the man was living with a menagerie of animals in the building, including the alligator, about 70 rabbits and unspecified "aquatic animals." The Pennsylvania Game Commission is involved in caring for the animal.

Fire Chief Paul Henry says the building's owner believes the alligator started the fire by knocking over a portable heater. Firefighters removed the animal, but only after taping its mouth shut.

Now that alligator will be welcomed in my school! Just KIDDING Mrs Wise.....

Michigan Woman Doesn't Know if She's Celebrating 108th or 111th Birthday!

FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Michigan woman is celebrating her birthday, but she isn't sure how many candles to put on the cake.

Mattie Caldwell was born on March 5. But whether she entered the world in 1901 or 1898 depends on whether you believe Medicare documents or the family Bible.

And there's no legal record of her birth.

Caldwell tells The Flint Journal even she doesn't know what year it was.

But the great-great-great-grandmother to at least seven — she stopped counting a while ago — says the birthday is special whether it marks 108 years or 111 years.

She's celebrating this week with friends and family at her home in Genesee County's Flint Township, about 55 miles northwest of Detroit.
