BAD PARENTS: TWO YEAR OLD SMOKES 40 CIGARETTES DAILY.

My mom posted this on her Facebook page and it was shown on Global TV news last night.

Police warn of Facebook Little Girl parties.

Chilliwack police in metro Vancouver are warning parents about a group of high school boys who have been trying to lure pre-teen girls via Facebook to parties where they would get them drunk and sleep with them.

They are called LG parties, which stands for Little Girl parties, said RCMP Const. Tracy Wolbeck.

This is something that has recently come to our attention and we are trying hard to monitor, Wolbeck said.

The intent of these parties and the group mentality that goes along with them is what makes them very frightening for parents and police alike.

Its not the first time Facebook has been used recently by local teenage boys to try to lure younger girls.

Last week, RCMP in Surrey warned parents that Grade 11 and Grade 12 boys at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School in Cloverdale had started a Facebook page to seduce eighth-grade girls.

They called the group the LGS Club the Little Girl Slayers Club.

I cant tie a definitive connection between whats going on in the (two schools), Wolbeck said.

At this point we havent formally engaged in any investigation ... We dont have specific people or events to tie to it.

Wolbeck said police are cautioning parents to be vigilant about where their teenagers are going and with whom.

She suggests if kids are heading to a party that parents call ahead to make sure there will be adult supervision.

Dont allow your kids to use the family computer in private, she said.

Be aware of their Facebook contacts and the content of that contact.

SFTC: HAPPY VICTORIA DAY FROM CANADA.

Victoria Day celebrates Queen Victoria's birthday (May 24th). Canada is still a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, of which the Queen is head. Victoria Day is always on a Monday, and thus the holiday is part of a long weekend, which is commonly referred to as the Victoria Day Weekend, the May Long Weekend, the May Long, or the May Two-Four (a case of beer there is called a "two-four" and many of these are consumed over the holiday). The weekend is also called the May 24th weekend, although it does not necessarily fall on May 24th.

The Victoria Day Weekend always falls on the weekend before Memorial Day in the U.S.

The Victoria Day Weekend is the first popular weekend for spring / summer travel. Lots of people open up their cottages, plant gardens, or just get away. Expect crowds at resorts and hotels and busy highways. Fireworks displays are common, especially on Monday night.

Banks, schools, many stores and restaurants are closed on the Monday. Call ahead to find out about other attractions and tourist spots. Public transportation will run on a holiday schedule. Have a safe one!!

WANNA WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT IN JAPAN? CAN'T GROW A BEARD!

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff170/friesenpoint/profile19apr06sized.jpg
Anyone sporting a bushy crop of facial hair need not apply for a municipal service job in the Japanese town of Isesaki -- its local government on Wednesday banned employees from growing beards.

"We have decided to ban our workers from growing a beard as we have received complaints saying they are unpleasant," Osamu Kigure, an official of the city in Gunma prefecture north of Tokyo, told AFP.

The civic facial hair ban is believed to be the first of its kind in Japan.

It was announced as part of annual 'Cool Biz' casual office dress rules, which allow male staff to work without jackets and ties in summer in order to cut down on air-conditioning and reduce global warming.

"Although people tend to accept beards these days, officials should look like the public servants they are. That's our idea," the official said, adding that the prohibition covers all kinds of whiskers and facial stubble.

LOL! SEA MONSTER SPOTTED IN ONTARIO???

http://www.dancewithshadows.com/society/images/loch-ness-monster-1.jpg
A First Nations community in northern Ontario may be giving Loch Ness a run for its money.

Reports from the remote community a few hundred kilometres south of Hudson Bay say a strange creature was pulled from a local creek earlier this month — a creature some are calling a monster.

Photos of the furry, bald-faced creature were posted on the official website of the Big Trout Lake community and have since caused a flurry of speculation on the Internet.

According to the website, two local nurses were hiking near the creek when they noticed their dog Sam sniffing something in the water.

The dog pulled the 30-centimetre-long dead creature from the water and the two women snapped some photos of it.

Its strange appearance has led to speculation it may be the mythical Ogopogo, the Chupacabra or some other marine monster, like the Loch Ness Monster. Others have pointed out it could be a water-logged bear cub or otter.

The community's official website can be found at

MAN GETS TACO BELL BAG FULL OF CASH INSTEAD OF TACOS. $2000 CASH!!

http://www.ecoliblog.com/493px-Taco_Bell_logo.svg.png
A $2 taco is nice. But how about $2,000 cash with your order? That's what happened when a Taco Bell server served up a bit more than a burrito at a Dayton, Ohio drive-though.

The employee handed over the bank deposit filled with bills instead of a bag filled with Taco Bell to a college-aged customer in a silver SUV. But don't run out for your liquid lunch just yet: There isn't some special all-cash deal going down at the Bell. The server handed the bag of money meant for the bank - by accident.

The restaurant manager explained it was an easy mistake to make: The policy was to put the bucks in a Taco Bell bag. That way, the manager could go through the drive-through and get slipped the bag for the bank run. Good plan, if you're in a bank-heist movie. Otherwise, bad, bad plan.

The lucky customer has not been seen. Security cameras didn't catch the license plate of the car, and for some odd reason, the lunch-less diner never came back to complain about the lack of food. Guess she's buying tacos for everyone.

Family mourns loss of 'impeccable' young man a year later.

A rally was held in Jarvis St. Remy's memory in commemoration of the first anniversary of his death with his mom and grandmother, Clemee Joseph and Delores Watson making an emotional plea, Friday, April 30, to anyone who knows anything about St. Remy's death. They are joined by spokesperson Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, KJ 'The Kid' Reporter and students from Western Tech. Staff photo/LISA RAINFORD

It's been a year since Jarvis St. Remy was killed while waiting for the bus after a night of video games with a friend and police are no closer to solving the teen's murder.

The 18-year-old Western Technical Commercial School student's mother, Clemee Joseph, and his maternal grandmother, Delores Watson, made an emotional plea to the public for help in solving their beloved son and grandson's murder, a day before the first anniversary of his death, on Friday, April 30. I attended and read the prayers and a speech about "Prevention." This is about how parents can raise their kids not to be "bad guys."
